Report a specific issue
Send a correction request to contact@sunloopmedia.com. Include the article/page title or URL, the relevant passage, an explanation of the issue and a supporting source where possible. Do not send passwords, confidential records or unnecessary personal information.
How a request is assessed
The owner handles correction requests and gives final approval of material corrections. A requested change is assessed against evidence rather than treated as automatically verified. We distinguish a factual error, a clarification, changed circumstances and a disagreement with an editorial conclusion.
Ordinary correspondence is reviewed approximately weekly. This describes the handling routine, not a guaranteed reply or resolution deadline. A complex issue can require checking sources or recorded work.
Explain material changes
A material factual correction should carry an appropriate explanation of what changed. Clarifying wording, correcting an error and reporting a new development are different actions. Changing an image or refreshing a date must not imply new testing that did not occur. A retest requires recorded subsequent work.
The minimum editorial correction/source-decision record is retained while relevant to the published article. Unnecessary correspondent contact information and attachments are deleted approximately 12 months after closure through quarterly manual review. Retained supporting personal records are reviewed after approximately three years and kept longer only where genuinely necessary. Legal/security needs can require a specific hold. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention model and provider-recovery limits.
Other requests
Privacy requests should be identified as such so they can be handled separately from an ordinary editorial correction. A report about a right or legal obligation is not treated simply as a request to change an opinion.
This ordinary correction routine does not limit any applicable legal right or mandatory response obligation.
